The Physical Therapy Department at AUBMC recently organized an internal training program for its staff on the topic of dry needling concepts and interventions. The objective of the training, which took place from March 27 to March 31, was to introduce the staff to the latest dry needling techniques that can help improve the health and recovery of their patients.

To make this training a success, the Physical Therapy Department collaborated with five highly experienced physiotherapists who are part of the Fresno Medical Mission team. These professionals brought in their expertise and knowledge to share with the AUBMC staff. The training was highly interactive, and the collaboration between the Physical Therapy Department staff and the Fresno team was fruitful, with a focus on providing practical, hands-on learning experiences.

Upon completion of the five-day training, the Physical Therapy Department staff received certifications, demonstrating their mastery of dry needling techniques. They are now equipped with the skills to incorporate these interventions into their treatment plans for patients. This training will have a positive impact on the quality of care provided to patients at AUBMC and will contribute to their overall well-being and recovery.
